In September 2023, UCLA Law students were introduced to lawyers (two of whom were UCLA Law alumni) who now work for different types of foundations.  Panelists Arun Baheti, the VP of Operations at The California Wellness Foundation; Joanna Kong, the Executive Director and General Counsel of the Sun Family Foundation, and Carol Worley, the Chief Legal Officer of the  California Community Foundation responded to questions from Moderator Rose Chan Loui and the law students about the challenges of their positions, why they work at foundations, and how they entered the nonprofit space.
